Over the years I have managed to buy a couple of items made by KuroKuro, but they where always bought in Japan and then delivered to an intermediary and reshipped to me. Most of them where either a duplicate of a 1 off he made locally or more recently I bought the abandoned practice piece he was trying to retrofit to a 3MA. They are good pieces, but normally more a compromise to fit the 3MA or RZV frame than actual YZR replica pieces.

The FRP bodywork is a side business I believe and he custom makes the multiple piece molds for what ever he is doing/making/been commissioned to make at the time. As a result I do not think the molds actually survive very long after the project is completed.

Perhaps you can ask for giron's assistance as he apparently has family in Japan. I'm sure others forum members would benefit as well with such contacts?

I have a message in to KuroKuro-san asking about an OW35 fairing, I included a question about the OWL9 body work.

If I get a positive answer then I would have my Japanese intermediary buy and receive the bodywork. Then it would be repackaged and shipped to me or perhaps in your case to Italy.

As for the '89 bodywork, once I figure out how to create a more accurate YZR frame the OW98 (1989) and OW81 (1985) bodywork will be have a place to stay :)

I got word back from KuroKuro-san, he is not producing any extra components at the moment. By the sounds of it he is pretty much only doing local specials for in-county customers.

Hopefully he will have the extra bandwidth to make some body kits for sale again soon.
