Hi, just wondering if any of you happen to know what "Reds" Yamaha used on the wheels and on the speed ladder of the 1985 YZR OW 81 pictured below?
Thanks guys.

Re: OW81 Paint Colours
My guess would be Clean White and Chappy Red.
Re: OW81 Paint Colours
Hi John, thanks for the reply. Looks like the wheels and ladders are two different shades of red? When they are looked at in comparison to the RZ they do look different. I will see if I can post something showing the two side by each.

Re: OW81 Paint Colours
Please forgive my paint skills but this might help show what I was talking about? The wheels look like chappy but the paint on the bodywork is darker?

Re: OW81 Paint Colours
The red is the same red as the presentation stickers of the TZ250S and TZ250T (and the TZR250 1KT). That OW81 as pictured happens to be sporting dayglo Marlboro red wheels, rather than the TZ red of the bodywork.
The images just do not do the Marlboro red justice.

Re: OW81 Paint Colours
I'm planning on powder coating a set of three spoke 99 R6 wheels as close as possible to this color? Not sure if that's possible?RC45 wrote:The red is the same red as the presentation stickers of the TZ250S and TZ250T (and the TZR250 1KT).
