It breaks my heart to sell this little sweetie that I’ve had for years, but to failing health it’s best that someone smart finish this almost complete project.
I’ve done all the hard stuff.
Engine professionally rebuilt by Wicked Motorsports in Los Angeles Complete
Frame prepped for final assembly in fact just rolling.
I’ve spent a fortune on rebuilding the front end as new, tubes springs bushings seals
New rear sets
New handlebars
Wheels been trued
New tires chain sprockets
TSS racing shock absorber
New radiator
Brand new JL Lomas pipes
Most brackets all prepped painted
Seat re done, rear cowling
All new brake lines, rebuilt calipers, new front caliper new Brembo rotors new gas cap
Brand new bodywork from England as well as original
And tons of stuff not listed here.
I’ve shoveled money into this with no budget ever.

It needs final paint, gas tank cleaning a few nuts and bolts assembly

I’ve been an owner of a RD500LC for years and raced 2 strokes years ago. I know two strokes and their values. This package is in Northern California. I am firm on my price of $8000.00, as I have way over $12k into it.

I bought this bike from the original owner complete.
I should note that the motor is the original engine for this France destined bike. That’s had all new crank bearings seals, new metal sprayed bores honed to match new OEM pistons, all new clutch. The carbs had rebuild kits installed and fiber reeds.
Engine has never been fired up, new new.
New peacock, thermostat so many new parts and NOS it’s crazy.

If you’re good with paint there’s really very little to do other than assemble the final bits and you to could have a Rothmans NS400r to enjoy!
