Not sure about what you are doing. Mine is the old Zeel That was a few separate boxes. I used the handheld programmer

I find that the handhold controller is not very intuitive to use, even with only 3 buttons. However, I managed to add an extra initial point on the ignition curve to fix the backfire issue, specifically 5 degrees of advance at 300rpm.
As there are 2 maps available, you can either edit your existing one or create a new one. The first thing it asks you is for Nr of points, so add 1 to what you already have. Then create a new curve with the advance & rpm values, or edit your existing curve, starting with the new 5 degrees @ 300rpm.

Sorry, but I can’t give you a step by step guide as I just end up pressing buttons and eventually make sense of it!
I assume you have the owner’s manual for the Zeel? It doesn’t really help with editing existing maps, but is better than nothing.
Good luck!

Your grandson you mean? That handheld controller is a bugger. Adding another point was a good idea.

The cable makes it way easier and you can see it all on your laptop. You can also check it while running. A little confusing to get it to connect. Then you can save two options on timing and PV

the connection works fine, if the software including initializing of USB-Driver at the laptop is started before the cable ist connected to the ignition controller.
