Catastrophic server failure

#1 Post by hybrid » Tue Nov 29, 2022 7:16 am

It's happened again.
This time I'm moving to a different host.

If you posted in the last 24 hours, we may have lost it.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

We're now hosted in AWS, so this should not happen again.

There is still an issue with the server being allowed to send emails. AWS are very strict with this. I have applied but haven't been approved yet.
So for the moment, the forum is not able to send emails.

We've been unlocked. We can send emails now too.

I was just trying to access the Owner's Group Parts List Lookup list without success - has it been lost in the last failure or will it be accessible in the future?

https://www.rzrd500.com/parts/allentries.php

Shows the message - Failed to connect to MySQL: Access denied for user 'parts'@'localhost' to database 'parts'

Fixed. Thanks for pointing it out.
I restored the database and created the user, but must have forgotten to give the user access to the database.
