An urgent appeal

#1 Post by WATKINS58 » Tue Sep 06, 2022 11:18 am

I am in the process of building my YZR500 replica, and have sent the right hand crankcase cover to Georgios for him to modify for use with a dry clutch. Unfortunately, at this moment in time, it looks as tho the Post Office has lost my casing, they said that their insurance would pay up, but that's not the point.
So really hoping someone could offer some assistance in trying to source a replacement casing

I have a spare clutch cover case that I purchased for a dry clutch conversion through Geosot but haven't come around to yet with other projects getting in the way. I sent you a PM.

I'm part of the club. :smt003

Mine is an RZ350 setup from George. Can't figure out how to make the clutch adjuster work. Sounds like he's still around, so maybe he could help me get it to work.

Exactly why I'm afraid to send out my custom parts! Wish I could find a good local welder, and machinist. No luck, lately.

Hope they find your clutch cover. I've had things lost in the mail, and found after a ridiculous period of time. Good luck.

Hello everyone,
Latest update is Royal Mail still looking for my clutch cover that they've lost, but in the meantime Georgios Sotirchos has come to my rescue by providing me with a clutch cover that he has already modified to accept his dry clutch kit. George is a top top bloke who has saved my project.
