I want to update you guys on a forum feature that we've recently had to remove. We just did a much-needed update to the forum's php-BB software version, and while doing that it came to our attention that the software plug-in for the mobile device app Tapatalk was no longer supported by php-BB due to serious security flaws with the Tapatalk app. And, Tapatalk seems unwilling to do anything about it or the time being, so we've turned it off for now.
I'm going to monitor the situation for a while and if anything gets updated/fixed on their end we'll take a look at turning it back on. I know alot of you guys like using your phones/tablets to get onto the forum thru Tapatalk, so I'm sorry to have to do this, and hopefully they'll address their security issues and get it fixed.

Re: Tapatalk security issues
any updates on the Tapatalk?
Re: Tapatalk security issues
After doing some recent checking on Tapatalk's website, at this point we don't think they have any intention of ever fixing the issue. If Tapatalk ever receives phpbb verification (phpbb is the underlying software that drives our forums) we would be OK putting it back, but at this point we don't see that happening.

Still no tapatalk?

Hi Motosapien,
To be honest, I don't see a world where tapatalk comes back while the site is hosted on my server.
