Hagon shock for rear?

#1 Post by hailwood1965 » Fri Feb 25, 2022 10:04 pm

Has anyone here used a Hagon shock on the rear of the RZ5? I wonder if a model 62045 or 900-147 will fit the bike? Online documentation seems to be lacking on the Hagon rear ...

Try contacting them and see if they can give dimensions would be best advice. Remember those shocks are a bit special because of the linkage ratio. The stock spring is 900 pounds or so i believe. Mine has an 1,146 pound sring i think. Might be 1,046. All I know is it is stout. I would think the internal buid would be different also due to the additional load and weight. A good shock will not be cheap and brakes and suspension are a few thing I would not chance with. You never know it was a bad choice until after the fact. Let everyone know if it is just for street riding, some track days, or track only.
