Are yours damaged or missing, or are you just changing for the sake of changing? It sounds like you plan to keep the instrument stay and replace only the speedo and tach.

Early FZ750 speedo has the same ratio as the RZ500 (same wheels). It will work, but is obviously different in appearance than the stock RZ500 speedo.

The RZ500 tachometer is the same as the RZ350 (1985 Non-US and 1986-90) tachometer. You can't use a 4 stroke tachometer because it will only show half of the actual 2 stroke RPM.

If you need stock replacements they can be found.

There are aftermarket options, but all need work to make them function. Plenty of members here use them and can tell you more.

I already have the new suspension on . I just need a speedo that doesn’t need a cable . I’d post some pics but it keeps saying “ file too big “

You need to use a picture host like Imgur or something like that to post pics.

I went with a set of Koso gauges, work great, very easy to set up, A few other guys use them as well, The magnet fits in the rotor bolts and you set up the speedo sensor there and then you calculate the wheel revolutions and enter that in the gauge setup menu to get the speed right. There is a pic below of the magnet and the wheel sensor
Tip: the low oil light will not work if you use LED tail light bulbs for some reason, The same with an LC350, It must be a Yamaha thing....
