They never built a Rothmans VF500R...So I did it.

I took a tired old 85 VF500F Interceptor, stripped it to the frame, and built the bike that honda never did. Managed to get a set of rare Targa lower fairings too. Exhaust are harley sportster replacements from China, shorts levers from China as are the clip-ons, and turn signals ---all very decent quality actually.

The Upper fairing needed alot of cutting to clear the clip-ons, and the windshield was chopped 3". I chopped the front fender down too , to look more like the old Motogp style.

I used a decals kit from a rothmans NS400R which required some creativity to get it to work. I had the VF500R decals custom made, and got a variety of other decals to complete the look.

Solo seats are like hen's teeth, so I recovered the seat in 2 tone to create the solo seat look.

Very nice, one of my favourite bikes after RZ's when I was in my 20's. I also liked the GPZ550 at the time, as well as most of the bikes in your collection for that matter.
