3MA frame mods

#1 Post by Ron57 » Mon Mar 19, 2018 6:25 am

Hi All, Having frame mods done by Nigel NK Racing. The frame has been sitting in his work shop
over 12 months now, has anyone else had any dealings with him. Starting to get worried now as I've paid money as well.
Cheers Ron

I spoke to him a few weeks ago, so he is still there and up and running mate, a friend also picked up a swing arm from him earlier this year...You didn't say the fatal words "no rush" when you sent it over did you?

I bought the upper and lower shock mounts from Nigel for two 3MA frames. RGVSteve in Florida did the 500 conversion for me. The other 3MA frame RGVSteve will do it with the RZ350 engine. I saw the shock mounts and the 3XV swingarm fitting it into 3MA frame. I'm very happy with Nigel's parts

Since Ron is asking about the 12 month wait....

How many months did it take to get your parts from Nigel, and get the frame work done by Steve?

the longest was to get the parts from Nigel. I will say six months. The six months included two sets of upper and lower shock mounts and the engine mounts. The UK postal service damage the package and Nigel had to fabricate new parts. As far as RGVSteve I would say at the most two months. The delay of two months included looking for rear RZ500 cylinders.

Hi, Thanks for the replies, yes it's about the time he is taking to fabricate was supposed
to be finished by October last year. Nigel must take to much work on.
Thanks again Cheers Ron
