Looks like a B25 Mitchell bomber. Like the ones used in the Doolittle raid.

Yes, it`s the B25 from the "flying bulls" (red bull) collection.

Usually they are in the "Hangar 7" in Salzburg but from time to time they come to the military Airport in Zeltweg (next to the RedBull ring).
They are always here during MotoGP, F1 and other big races, but I did not expect to see it on a normal wednesday in winter.

Maybe they took the oppotrunity to take some nice pictures with the fresh snow.

you should come to the hamilton airshow here in ontario. The Canadian warplane museum has a flying lancaster. 4 V12 merlins is incredible!

Yes, that would be great to see.
The biggest radial engine planes I saw are the Douglas DC6 from the Flying Bulls collection and the Lockheed Super Constellation (Breitling) both at the Airpower airshow in Zeltweg.

My dream would be to see a Boeing B-17 flying.
I saw one in the RAF museum in london, but only static display...
