Hope all of you that live in Texas and Houston area are well, it's quite alarming what's happening w the rainfall. A potential for 50" if rain, is unimaginable.
My house flooded 3 years ago with 4" of rain in 1 hr, 16" deep wall to wall in just 15 minutes.

If what's happened there were to happen here, my house would have been exactly 4' deep with floodwater.

Again wishing you all the best, lives and family 1st, nothing else really matters???

It's hard to get clarity with the news, but

Houston and other surrounding costal areas, appear to be just...... utterly lost due to flooding.

With another 25" of possible rain that was forecasted, Its going to be a struggle to retain order health & saftey and with possibly no power or fresh water for the population, possibly numbering in the millions.

Thank goodness, so far the loss of life is incredibly low considering the sheer magnitude of devastation,.

My family and I survived high and dry. I have a call into Paul P. Hopefully will hear from him when he gets a chance. Many folks have been busy either cleaning their own place up or helping neighbours out.

two-stroke-brit (Mark) is also from around these parts. I have his number somewhere and will put a call out as soon as I find it.

Getting better here. Some parts of Houston are still flooded. It is sad what I have seen over this time. I helped take apart three peoples home and put tarps on a fellow riders roof from a fallen tree. There was a lot of help from volunteers, church groups, and the rescue people. Kudos to Houston for pulling together at such a tough time. Rich or poor were all affected. I am in the AC business so I bought some whole house dehumidifiers to help dry some homes. The piles of debris is the terrible thing. I will post some images when I get a little time. Weather is suppose to be better this next week. Thanks for the best wishes and concerns.

To all our members in the greater Houston area, kudos to you guys for keeping your heads and spirits up - I for one totally admire your fortitude and hard work to get back on your feet :smt023 :smt023 Never been through a hurricane's landfall, and hopefully never will

But now we must hope any members in the greater South Florida area are gettin' ready - get those motorcycles out of harm's way....
