Sold my RZV
Sold my RZV and I guess I have gotten the full rz500 experience so I am going to give some other 2 stroke bikes a try.
I like to keep changing up bikes around here, keeps things interesting.
I will still be hanging around and checking out whats new. But not really participating anymore.
Thanks for the help and great resources here.
Watch for my upcoming yard sale in the for sale section.

Re: Sold my RZV
Shame to see you move on, but I know how you feel, as you saw with my RZ350 clearance last summer. 3 bikes and a transport full of parts. I don't miss it. I now find myself tiring of TZRs, so that may be next. When the joy is gone, it's time to move on. Looking forward to seeing what you dive into next.
Put all that yard sale stuff in the trunk of your car and bring it to Whitby when we have lunch in a couple of weeks. Don't forget my oil pump
If you can squeeze that motor in that would be good too I have room for it all now.

Hey Colin, shame to hear you've sold your 500, but hope you still chime in once in a while. Your help moderating over on the 350 forums has been greatly appreciated - hope you'll still be doing that for a while?
Re: Sold my RZV
Yes Tom no change with me on the 350 side.
I am collecting parts to build a rd350lc special to add to my stable this winter.
Still addicted to 2 strokes. Just not sure what one to buy next. If I can get a RG500 fixer upper for a price I can except, I will.
I would appreciate any leads on one that anyone has.
Needle in a haystack you know. I would also like a Bultaco Metralla. Maybe an early RZ350. Who knows?

Sorry to see the sale. Hope you received what you wanted and also sold to an enthusiast and not to some one that will turn it into a garage queen. Thanks for all the great input. I am also starting on a RZ 350 i just purchased.
Re: Sold my RZV
Did you sell it to anyone we know?
Re: Sold my RZV
No Russ, just a random fellow from the Port Perry area. He was watching Kijiji for months because he always wanted a rz500 but never had one. Within 5 hours of me posting the ad, he came and bought the bike. He is not on the forums.RuZty wrote:Did you sell it to anyone we know?
The way he was talking, I think its mainly going to be a garage queen. But he is going to clean and polish the heck out of it.
