Wyn has passed on....
It is with great sadness that I relay news that Wyn Belorusky has passed away May 21st. Those who knew him well will miss him for sure. A great wit, thoughtful and a very creative touch when it came to motorcycles. Thoughts and prayers for those close to him and his extended family.

Very sad to hear this - During his time at RZRD500.com Wyn inspired a lot of YZR fans to try building a special - he set the standard of the day.

Wow.... so sad to hear that Wyn has passed on. He asked me many years back to build him some pipes for his RZ500. Really a super nice person and always enjoyed playing with these things. He was one of the first building special RZ500's. That picture of Wyn standing next to Eddie at Daytona with his yellow RZ500? was cool. Wyn made Eddie look really small
Wyn, special guy. Will be missed for sure.
RIP my friend

I am stunned, I know he was having heath problems and was getting a second opinion. We have become close friends for the last 25 years and he has always helped with my projects. I have been worried since he didn't return my calls or emails the last few days. Buddy you will really be missed.
Re: Wyn has passed on....
Didnt know the gentleman but condolences to family and friends, RIP Wyn.

Seen his mark on the rz world but never crossed paths.
Sounds like a great guy.
Anyone have a picture of him?

Very sad to hear this news
Wyn was very active with the group in the early days and put a lot of effort into the Newsletters before the internet day's.
Wyn was also the webmaster for the original group website.
Here is one of my favourite piece's he did for the Newsletters
RIP Wyn

Re: Wyn has passed on....
You know what I hate most about getting older ?
People having your age decease of things you formerly rated being "old man's diseases" and make you realize more and more the real important things in live (sorry to say, but bikes don't lead that list)
As I had my RZ500 from 1995-1999 I opted for that newsletter (even wrote an article at that time).
During a software user conference in 2000 I had a stay in Orlando and Wyn came over with the RZ. We had a nice afternoon of twostroke chat at the pool.
That's the memory I'll keep. RIP Wyn.

Sad news, indeed.
I have been travelling for the past 12 days with limited internet access, and Bill Wilson had sent me a text message late last week telling me about Wyn's passing. I was shocked as I had no idea he was ill.
Wyn had really helped me keep the club moving forward during the 1990's, taking over for me as the editor of our print newsletters for several years. The guy really new his stuff. He was also a good machinist and I know he helped many with custom parts fabrication for their various two-stroke projects - me included!
Found some pics from years past and thought I'd throw them up here.
Wyn and I with Kenny Roberts' dad, Buster. USGP at Laguna Seca, around 1994 I think. We had just given Buster a club T-shirt, and he immediately put it on and wanted his picture taken!
Wyn with Kenny Roberts @ Daytona
Wyn with his RZV500 in its beginning stages of customization
Wyn with that same RZV after its YZR transformation. That bike made it into many, many magazines.
RIP Wyn.... see ya down the road!!
