A bike like this one looks like a lot of fun, because it is rough enough, that youy dont have to worry about keeping it stock, and pristine. A person can either restore it, or modify it to any degree they desire. So, go wild and have a ball, you lucky bastard

I LOVE bikes like these! As has 'gpaddict' said, you can't go wrong...go expensive or go cheap and cheerful...THIS should be lots of fun! I congratulate you on taking it on and I know that will give you lots of pleasure and lots of pain and frustration...the pleasure wins in the end though!
Best of luck mate. :D

Oh...and ditch that fuel tank! I don't care what anyone says but sadly it's buggered!!! For reasons best known to themselves Yamaha made them out of rice-paper.
Again, good luck and best wishes.
Enjoy!

One question though. How long has that concrete mixer been sitting there?

Beautiful job. Did you do all the painting yourself? No matter who painted it, great job. Now go show it off.

Still such a dammned good looking bike...to this day. The Yamaha factory graphics..just cannot be beat :smt023
IMO,its subjective obviouslly but I stand by the idea ,that You can put a RZ such as yours in a row on display with ANY RZ with different paint jobs,ANY race replica etc...and your stock graphics will "hold their own",regardless of indavidulality...the stock design is that dammned good. Even when you view two or more of the same next to each other..Its just double the pleasure to the eyes... :smt007
