Are you using a RVS mille frame?

Nice!

Yeah, what he said - what frame and swing-arm is that...

In a way (and I am struggling with this thought process on one of my own bikes right now), but basically - if we are going to use a frame from a different bike, or use a custom twin-spar frame (such as the ones from MiCo down under), and we are going to install different brakes, different wheels, different forks, a completely different swing-arm, tank, fairings and other body work and we are going to customized almost every aspect of the bike - at what point does one not have an RZ anymore...!?

Stated differently, if you are only going to keep the 2-stroke, why not just put the V4 in a Mille frame or an R6 frame and be done with it! Also, do you still own anything near what it was at that point...

Believe me - I am NOT one of those "keep it all original" purists, - I'm just asking to get the perspectives of others! I am fortunate in that I have two RZs - I can keep the one stock-stock and the other was already a race-bike, so I don't modifying it all to heck!

I understand it, I get it; I just want something too that will sound and run like a 2-stroke, turn-in when I ask it to and NOT turn into a bloody washing-machine when I hit the brakes!

Either way, nice builds hvads.
Anything with an engine in it...

Some techs:

R6 -07 frame and swingarm
Øhlins front from 999 sps with brakes
Øhlins rear shock
Harris yoke, fotrests, ++++
pcm wheels
Swarbrick pipes
brembo brake and cluch syllindres (im gonna use hydraulic clutch)

fairing and rear subframe stil to come, ill suprise you! :):

engine - yes, but building the bike first!

My feeling is once the frame is gone then it becomes a hybrid bike, no longer an RZ/RD.

HVADS,
this is gonna be a phantastic bike! State of the art.
Is Swarbrick now also supplying carbon mufflers or are they from a different source?

Yes, Swarbrick carbon mufflers. But as you can see, i also bought them to my first built, and that is over 10 years ago.

Please to all you folks that dont think this is no longer a Rd/Rz:
I think this can be discust in other threads, and not in a prosjects thread.

Please respect this!

Hi, It looks to me that most parts on that bike is Suzuki RGV250 vj22.
Am I right or wrong Hvads? Impressing new project by the way.
