Don't mind if I do... **slurp**Go on...have a lick...
Hmmmmmm - That alloy tank is beautiful, and delicious....
I have capitulated and am having a gentleman in California fabricate me a bespoke alloy tank for the RZV frame
I figured since I broke down and did the dry clutch, why not go the whole 9 yards and get an alloy tank as well.
It looks almost too good to paint.

Haha! Yes, quite... I decided a while ago that I was clearly only going to try this once so I may as well go as 'large' as my bank manager will let memollydee wrote:Good to see you are still going the low quality route

Just to balance it out I have a picture for you all of my new alloy seat and bellypan which I'm looking forward to bolting on soon
It's a sheet of 2mm alloy, 8ft by 4ft. I 'found' it feeling neglected and re-homed it.
All I need is a hack-saw, a hammer, an english-wheel, some templates and a tig welder...oh and a lot more talent ...and it will be great!

Actually, now I look at the pictures I took quickly earlier today I think the tank is being mounted a little further back than I want.
Better nip back tomorrow and have a word with Stanley. Could be that the yokes are touching the mounting plate on full lock if the tank is any further forward...just thinking 'out loud'...I'm going now.
