Did you take an original part to them and did they set you up for one special run? They did a great job.

If I recall at the time they already did this type of finish. It looks like its is quoted on there website under the finished section. It was a while ago (years) when I got my stuff done

I did send and original item to get them to match the shade.

Cheers

It's as good as finished! All bar a couple of bits - see the wanted section.

Took it for about a 4 miles ride today.......Brilliant. Furthest distance I had ever riden it before was about 400 yards.

No major issues, took it easy as I have to run it in. Couldn't go to far as I need to get an MOT.

Very nice.

Before long we will have more "on the road/track" running RZ/RD500's than during the 1990's when they where all being parked and forgotten the first time round :)

Love the red,black,silver paint scheme!
A very striking combination. Yamaha did it right on that one!

Well it passed the MOT and I've taxed it, so it road legal

So far I've put about 80 miles on it with no major issues. I know people have differing opinions but how many miles should I run it in for? I was aiming for 300ish. Usual thing, don't load up too much etc...

I've replaced cranks, pistons, rings, small end etc....

Cheers

Pete
