Thanks mate!

Well the 500 will need MOT'ing then run in and dyno set-up and then suspension tweak! I do plan in the near future to get some porting done, as for cosmetically for the bike I have been sorting out some in fills in carbon fibre so it fills the hole in the middle!

And if you meant next project it's going to be my 350 in TZR frame as this has been put on the back burner too long

It looks brilliant Vin. You must be so pleased how it came out. Is that the tank you bought off me? If so, what a fantastic job. I'm delighted it's being used again after all those years of gathering dust!

Hi Rich,

Yes my bike will be on the Yamaha Classic Club stand but it is looking likely that I will be at the show only on the Sunday

Vin's project

#193 Post by rich bullock » Tue Oct 11, 2011 7:45 pm

Hi Vin
excellent, your bike was top notch before having seen it twice before at shows but looks even better now. Intending to go to show on Sunday myself so look forward to seeing bike in all its glory.
Saw 1st incarnation in Classic Motorcycle Mechanics a few months back.
Would be good if one of the mags could get yours, Nigel Kimbers, Simon Harris's, Dubsey's all together with some lightly modified and standard machines for a full article with all the bikes together.
All the bikes have been featured in various mags over the last few months and a while back Motorcycle News on July 20th 2005 did a feature on Nigel Kimbers bike and David Raes NSR500 West Honda Pons (Loris Capirossi replica) - chasis by Fabrication Techniques using a Suzuki RG500 engine. Wonder if it is still out there somwhere.
regards
Rich.

Vin.

Saw your bike at the show yesterday. Even better in the flesh than the pics.

Even my wife liked it and she hates bikes
