Once it's set up you'll soon catch them. Pics ASAP!!
As soon as it came out the van, people were asking questions
My daughters friends father (i;ve never met him) made a special trip out to see the bike
I think i need to get something printed, as I continually answer the same questions
Even Brands Hatch management came out, and took pics for thier monthly magazine, apparently the guy had seen me riding on the road and nearly crashed his car as he was watching me
He also invited me to show the bike at the British Superbike Round, free tickets for the BSB woo hoo

That's excellent mark. Brilliant. That sort of appreciation makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Have just been invited to show the mistress at the Donnington Yamaha Festival august 10/11
Apparently We'll be in the marquee with the classic yamaha race team, there is only about thirty bikes in there, and a real OW45 YZR500,YZR250,OW31 750cc and numerous TZ's
Now having second thoughts about racing the Mistress in july

No reason to race the bike to win, just treat it like a fast track day.

I totally agree with you....but as I managed to get the rear sliding on my Race License Test.... I know I couldn't be trusted...... more so when there approx 4 RG500 out there....... and yes I should act my age but as you know when those 4 pipes start screaming it is incredibly addictive !

WOW! That's brilliant mark. I was already planning on going to the Yam show. I'll be there leg strength permitting!

Well, I went to a track day where in the cool morning session I was chasing down 750's and 900's and by mid-day 600's where drilling me into and out of the turns.

That's when I figured these old strokers are simply temperamental so-and-so's and are just good for a thrash now and again :)

No need to hang it all out, as there are always 17 more kids on disposable track bikes ready to eat you up and spit you out

I agree with you rc45, if it was just a track day i'd use the TZR or YZF but
I am supposed to be racing the 500 in classic two stroke gp race, there is even a TZ750 that competes, but Id like to show it at the yamaha thing too, although the race is at Brands Hatch GP circuit, so you can understand my dilema

Ronnie it'd be great to meet up at donnington

Had an email from Brands Hatch today, they want the YZR rep and my mates two YZF's (Haga rep and Cadbury's Boost rep) for two days at the BSB round, and for a sweetner thay are giving us VIP passes to the Brabham suite on the pit striaght !

They also sent through a few pics from Brands Hatch doing my ACU license test

Also first time out for new /old leathers (Scott Leathers with knox armour), bargain find for £75 on ebay
