been away for a while sorry due to wife illness . i have milling machine sett up waiting for machine tool contractor to come .he is going to network machine to pc.this will be mid February 2019.my .i have teamed up with john from jmc swinging arms who is going to be doing cad cam programs .parts i am going to do are-yzr replica top case-clutch cover-water pump cover-heads-fork yokes-swinging arm factory ends-.and possibly more.expected to have own set done later on in year .i will keep you all posted and try to upload some pics soon. i am also wondering if there is any interest out there in above parts ;as i would be able to offer yzr case conversion as a kit ,with manifolds and to suite different top end assemblies . let me know all the best and good 2019 to all

Hi,

If I read correctly you will be doing a YZR top crankcase ? What cylinders are you planning ? Any idea of cost including the intakes ? Are you changing the V angle to YZR or keeping the standard RD500 V angle ? Presumably the carb manifolds will be challenging if you keep the RD500 V angle ?

Would late model TZ250 cylinders be viable ?

Sorry for all the questions!

Cheers
Paul

there are going to be different options available going to be later on in year .my ones are for Athena 150 top end. i will be able to supply as complete kit once sorted my own'
for different top end options you will need to supply drawings 3d for barrel or sample.not sorted pricing yet but not cheap.there will be discounts to club contributors.

I guess the Athena is a good solution - new barrels easily available and not as expensive as TZ stuff.

Thanks.
