It is an early R6 wheels conversion with 4.5 an 3.0 inches rims. 160 an 120 mm tires. All legalized in the papers. 210 mm rear disk . The ISR caliper is stock, just needed some new spacers for the positioning.

Nice,
did you buy the bike in Sindelfingen last year?

I bought it last year, but at Yamaha Klein in the Saarland.
Was a good maintained bike complete like described, including stock wheels and front end. I added the pipes during the summer, did some carb jetting, to run it smoother. And some winter works ... will test tomorrow if I find some time ;-)

O.K.,
last year one guy offered one from Sindelfingen.
Nice to hear that one more RD 500 is in the “Schwobaländle”, great.
Are you sure that the rims are from a R6?
Looks more like a FZR600 rims, style and dimentions, too.

regards from Sindelfingen-Maichingen

One more question,
Is your rpm-meter well?
Mine is tilting up from 8000 rpm. With PDCI-24V CU.

Well, to be honest, I am not 100 % sure. The front end is R6, the blue piston caps are only used on R models ?
In the papers they are in as R 6 parts. Did not go one single meter yet, maybe today. Will see the tach function. Let’s go for a ride, when spring has arrived! 2 500’s screaming the Alb would be cool !

At your picture I could not see the fork and front wheel.
But the 4 piston callipers match also to the older forks.
The R6 is having 5.5 and 3.5 rims.
The Alb is normally not my preferred area, I´m a black wood forest diver. :smt003
But sure we will meet some day for a ride.

You will be surprised about mine.
Has nothing to do with a stock RD anymore. And also the riding is like with an bike out of the 2000 series. 8-)
You could see it in my posts.

I´m also still struggling with the carb setup. :smt012

the bike runs fine, tachometer works on the full range.
I am running the 1GE curve, the PV timing is changed to later opening, which seems to help in the midrange with the JL pipes. The mirrors are too small, but they look good .. . That’s it for today , good feeling to have it alive again
