Radiator

Can anyone recommend a good way to restor my RZ500 radiator? I've stripped and cleaned it up, but once all the old paint that has flaked off is brushed off, it needs either shot blasting or something to get it in a position where I can re spray it with some heat resistant enamel paint.

Not sure shot blasting is th right thing to do, in case I damage the radiator.

Any advice?

I just cleaned mine thoroughly and wire brushed bad spots and used a good quality paint like POR 15 and has stayed on well. Take a pick and open all the rock damaged fins before painting.

Did my radiator with this:

Looks great with the proper finish. Expecting this paint will allow the radiator to transfer heat more effectively than normal 'hi-heat' paint products. Can't verify how it will looks after a couple thousand miles, yet...
