Just sent a message to check on Steve.

He lives in Florida.

Hope somehow he was spared from Irma's devastation.

I spoke with him a few days before the storm made it to the keys. I stay tuned over the weekend. The bulk of the storm stayed away from the east coast.

Hopefully, all he had to with was broken branches or rain from a bad storm.
A few days before the Hurricane, I E-mailed him regarding some future work he's doing on my RZ, he replied but was clearly concerned about this hurricane.
I'm so glad for the majority of Florida that it didn't do sheer utter devastation as in the Caribbean & parts of the Keys.

Steve called last night. The family and Steve are doing fine. The house is fine also. The inconvenience is no electricity and no water. I was glued to the weather channel last weekend watching the storm. I keep checking the updates on the county site where he lives to see when the electricity and water will be restore. I send him an email he must have gotten on his IPhone. I also mention that I saw five C5 taking off from northern California heading with supplies to Homestead air base.

Glad all is well with him and family. Electricity is an inconvenience but so what. Some people are just getting back to their homes in Houston.

I'm still here, haven't closed shop. I'm doing more production work then bike stuff, but I still do bike stuff when I have the time. Lost some fence panels but that's minor, now I see there's another
storm brewing out there, weather channel is showing its track for the next 5 days to be pretty close to what Irma's was, so now we get to watch and wait and hope !!

I think this thread title should be changed :)

Glad you and Mark have weathered the onslaught.

Done & Edited:

Spoke with Steve, and were ready to start my Frankenstein 350 project, when things settle down out there, and when he has the avail time between his manufacturing/fabrication commitments. My initial goal is a 2-Stroke terror 4-7mm P.V. 80 h.p. 299 lb. Track bike, I have the recipe, and with Steve's help...I'll get there..or real damn close

Was glad to hear from him, and hear they were spared Irmas awful wrath. Quite a worrisome ordeal when a hurricane is larger than your state.
