Once again, Pete made my day!

no, I haven't ventured onto the 350 site - too much for me to learn (and catch up on) here.
I sure enjoyed riding and racing my RD350LC, pretty much stock to fit in the rules back then, and I was running the TZ's so no "need' to mod.

Was just sharing memories with lost1750GTV.

I had a '74 2000. Best car I ever owned. My S2000 could never touch my Alfa in the canyons.

Me too. Maybe I can see the finished bikes.

If not, maybe you guys can give advice to whoever finishes the bikes. He may not be so familiar with the RZ500 details.

Trying to get my RZ supermoto bike to a pipemaker. Then, I'll send the R6 swingarm to be copied into a streetfighter style arm. Custom triples should be next.

Thanks, much.

a supermoto??
that is gloriously insane!
I'm hoping for you to finish your bikes - OK maybe after a necessary break - and start another later.

Why my 500 project moves so slowly:

Other projects going on, as well. :smt102

too much to do? the stupid reason I sold my GTV, after almost thirty years it needed refreshing, and it was at the end of the line of projects that weren't getting done.
just felt overwhelmed at the time - but I should have put it in storage instead of letting it go. of course I shoulda done that with a lot of things, including a TZ700A.

Trying not to send out titanium custom parts. Made that swingarm fab tool so I don't have to send out the carbon rear wheel. Have an OEM R6 rear axle, and am fabricating another swingarm pivot, this time, out of aluminum.

Waiting for the aluminum RZV500 pivot bolt, OEM axle nut and OEM pivot nut to arrive. Hopefully, next week.

Modified R6 swingarm and other parts are in the box, almost ready to ship. Box is over 25 lbs. Looks like around $70 usd to ship.

Trying to figure out the design for the upper triple.

Probably going with a Motoscope Pro.

Didn't want to use the MT-O3 headlight because it's on half the fighter bikes I see. But, I've already got bikes with round, rectangle, and dual headlights. Realized it's a good fit for my hoard.

Hopefully, the gauge doesn't stick up above the headlight - or be too low to see clearly.

Tried to order an OEM MT-03 headlight from boats.net and partzilla, but couldn't find it. Might need to order from CMSNL.

Chopped the ignition bracket off the mockup upper triple. Would be in the way of mounting the tacho.

Next, need to chop the birdcage mount off the head tube. Then, the headlight can be closer to the forks.

Got the one-off RZV aluminum swingarm bolt finished. Also got the OEM nuts & washers.

Titanium on the left.

Mounted up the swingarm to make sure the new pivot bolt fits.
