Hi,
After several runs on track only for training, engine needed some attention. During my last run (October 2017) my filghwheels were noisy. Top speed was good but accellaration was not fully good.
Once the engine out of the frame, I quickly understood that winter will be a study winter with lot of wokrs. 3 pistons damaged and a stator broken.

Find 4 -125TZR piston in +1.75 was easy but the used 5ke ingnition was more difficult.

As the research take a long time, some posts made me want to fit 35 tmx carbs on the engine. Thanks to the forum members for their help. I have deicided to adjust new original intake manifold instead of build 4 new one.
After 8 months, job is done : 4 new pistons, 4 overbored barrels, 4 TMX 35 and titanium screws ordored to Santa Claus.

Engine beark-in will be the 11 of june on a 'Le LUC' track in the south of france.
Hope everthing will be fine so I will post some pics and video.
Cheers

Hi for the front pistons, I'm sure that comes from the ignition timing because it was non good, but for the rear one, I don't know. My oil pump ?

Ready for a come back on track.
Hope jI have the good jetting because if I to adjust it I have to remove the tank, and the radiator !!!
Now jetting is #270 for the main and #15 for jet pilot (350 and 20 for the original setting).

@3XV, according to your information I have removed the 240.

I hope I will be back with good news and a short movie.

Cheers Nick

HI,

After 2 sessions for running-in with and also learning the track, the thrid one was more funny.
Engine run very well into the high rpm and no problem with the low rpm. 270 main jet and 15 pilot jet seems to be ok.
Now I have to adjust needle setting. I beleive I'm to rich but I'll try to make a dyno run before dismantling carb.

Short video of the third session : https://youtu.be/Zhzn2J9slcI" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Cheers
