Thank you. I appreciate the information.

The bike looks great. The timing is perfect. Just yesterday I was thinking about black and silver and wondering how it would look with a black frame.

Hi here is a photo of Bill's reed mod, hope you don't mind Bill and the spacer to get the clearance
between the two carbs. there is still a lot of work making these fit.
These are the curves Borut sent me, hope this is ok as well.
Cheers Ron.

Hi, Bill Wilson opens the rubber manifolds to match the modified reed valves.
The 35mm tmx carbs are jetted for 125 motocross bikes and that jetting is very close
to what I am using.
Cheers Ron.

Hi Ron,
when you have wrotten ''Bill Wilson opens the rubber manifolds'' you are talking about the inlet, outlet or both?

Hi The rubber manifolds are matched to the reed valves, also opened up on the inside.
When using 35mm carbs you have to grind about 1mm on the inside of the rubber manifold to be flush.
It's a fine line getting it right, That's why I'll be getting Bill to do my next set.
Cheers Ron.

Hi, the only gasket is between the reed and barrel, I've been using Three Bond between the
rubber manifold and the reed.
Cheers Ron.

had a chance to run it yet. Throttle is a lot lighter.

I cut the centre of the original filter so I could use two separate lines and two fuel taps.
Worked ok, was looking for another way to make it a bit better found out that you can use
a fuel tank tap off a tzr3ma screws on had to do a couple of mods works great.

Ron57 wrote:Hi Mikkell, trying to do something a bit different always takes time. Had a few engine issues (rear cylinders) hopefully all sorted now. Had this oil tank made up save pre mixing, just sent the tank off to get a different filler welded in, still working out a paint scheme. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll be back on the road.
