New guy from London,
I am looking to swap my RD350LC 1982 very nice condition that runs lovely for a RZ500LC in need of tlc it was running before stored 2 years ago has all original parts plus different pipes and jets to unlock the Jap restriction.
not to Shaw of the 500 current value as imported and not a uk bike - it has been described as a carb / fuel clean and flush - kicks over has great compression the panels are nice condition and does look a nice bike.
any tips to look out for? - is it a good trade?
is the carb clean a easy job?
would be delighted to capture some advice as I have never experienced a 500lc?

Re: newbee
The 500 gets expensive fast. Compared to a twin you are looking at 2 cranks, 4 pistons, 4 carbs, etc...
So if it really needs more than a carb clean......
I think the twin bikes are more enjoyable overall. Lighter, much easier access for maintenance, more aftermarket available.
But the 500 still has that wow factor.
