Well the paint job only took 2 months!!!!

#1 Post by jetskijerry » Sun Aug 11, 2013 11:52 am

Hi all, remember last year when I posted my new build almost done? Well that was 8 or 9 months ago!! The track test didn't happen due to snow....not good for first shakedown!.......so the winter was spent on final build. Went to paint in May! Just picked it up and rather like the result. Only downside is that most of the good weather is gone.........and I don't want to 'lob' it down Paddock!!!! Add to that I've just been made redundant! So I may have to let this beauty go......

Radiator custom built to my 'wooden' pattern by Mark Dent at Performance Fabrications. He did the pipes too.

Thanks NCR160. I agree with your comment about front indicators! Search continuing for the perfect pair. They do however come off in seconds for track days, as does the rear number plate etc. and bike sailed through an MOT.

It really is fantastic. Very recently I had the good fortune of a close inspection of Niall Mackenzie's YZR500 and this really does look as good, if not better. Well done.

That is a beauty and congratulations on such a piece of art. Wish I had the machining and engineering skills that it took. Again, wonderful job.
