Hello Fellow Club Members and Future Club Members:
So I finally bought a battery and started testing all the wiring now that it's back on the bike. Found a few things as one might imagine.
- Horn did not work at all. Removed it and hooked it direct to the battery still dead, replaced with another one I had, now good to go.
- My most anticipated wiring piece, the tail light integrator installation, well it wasn't working right to start. (Helps when you check the 30 year old bulbs first)! Spent 20 minutes looking at wiring diagrams and double guessing my wiring before checking the bulbs! End of that story is it's working perfect. I might even post a shorty video showing.
- Mounted the custom fender eliminator bracket I made.
- Custom soldered new ground wires to the front flush turn signals as the originals used the screws of which I eliminated early on.
YPVS servo cycles nice everytime the key is on. I haven't checked for spark but am pretty sure we should be good. Time will tell.
