I settled on 185MJ and the un-restricted emulsion tubes and needles, I have given it a bit of hard top end reving around the streets where I work then tried a plug chop. the plugs come out a nice brown biscuit colour running those K&N filters. I am getting a little bit of smoke on the lower rev range off the pipe.

Those standard Elephant ear air tubes would have to be the worst design I have ever laid eyes on!

The last piece of the plastics came back from the painters and has been fitted up. I cant believe how brittle the original stuff is as every piece needed some form of plastic welding!

Being 30 year old plastic with god knows how many heat cycles. i think most original plastics that have been on bikes will be a little brittle.
