Ebay seat cover

#1 Post by 2manyprjx » Sun Jul 08, 2018 3:07 am

Anybody else try the replacement seat cover on Ebay? I bought one and tried to fit it but I don't see anyway it's going to stretch enough at the front to make it fit and get the wrinkles out.

I fitted one of these yesterday....
Http://r.ebay.com/aMHAvH" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, from a company called Dis-covers.
I was a little nervous as upholstery is not my thing, but the cover went on well with no creases. Fitting it in the hot sun helped. I used contact adhesive and stainless staples. The only issue was that my staple gun struggled to punch the staples in fully.
Recommended.

I can't do links at my work computer but here is the ebay number. 162448028398. It's has a stitched panel at the very front. To pull it tight and establish that front curve, the bottom would have to stretch more than the vinyl is capable. I've done several seats before so I know the process. I just don't see this cover working.
