#1 Post by Jarrettvp » Sun Dec 24, 2017 8:52 pm

Hi.

School boy erro, but I took off all the fairing clips before getting them refurbished. Only I don’t now know which ones go where? Any one help? Especially the nose cone for the front fairing

Your photos are not showing in your post.

The upper fairing clips are very simple. There are 4 clips; 2 upper and one on each side. Place the clip so the nut is inside the box.

There are six fairing clips in the nose cone (6mm thread)

Have a look at this photo, the left hand middle clip is missing but you can see where they fit

The top two clips that are facing out are for the headlight frame bolts to go into

Let me know if you need any more photo's

Thanks guys.

If you have any pictures of the clips for the lower side panels and the belly pan, that would be helpful as well. Now that I have sorted out the sticking float valve on one carb and there is no more fuel pouring out the over flow pipe, I’m ready to put the fairing back on.

I’ve taken a few pictures below. Hopefully you can open them. I have 3 types of clips. Most of them are the same type (thinner ones). What are the two larger ones with the locating boss? I only have 2 of them. Then I have 3 larger clips, but think they are off the belly pan

I don't recognize the clips in the first photo

Second photo is clip part number 47X2173600, you should have seven (six for the nose cone and one for the o/s airbox for the side panel to fit to)

Item 8 here

item 38 here

The last photo is clip part number 9018305024 and you should have thirteen of these

Item number 29 here

http://www.rzv500r.net/Tech_docs/47X-PL ... ge_65.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Item number 22 here

Clip part number 47X2836200 is item 30 here
