Belly pan rear brackets

#1 Post by dave55 » Thu Feb 11, 2016 5:49 pm

Hi

As i get ever closer to finishing my project more things start to elude me.

mine came partially stripped of bodywork so i seem to be missing something bracket wise
at the rear of my belly pan.
are these available or does anybody have a pair for sale. Its a 51X RZV
searched the parts and manuals but nothing seems to pop up.
was there a difference between models ?

You'll only find them in the 47X parts list. 1GE and RZV don't have them.

Cheers for that.

Checked the RZV and 47x parts list and both show the bracket sticking out from the belly pan but no line or part number to it but all the fixings are parts listed that go through it to the frame.
1GE like you say has no bracket.

my belly pan has the mouldings to take the spring clip that the bracket fits to and what appears to be a hole in
the lower frame rails as well.
Probably NLA anyway but worth a shot. May have to get creative with my metal work

There is no part number for the brackets which only came with the belly pan.

The left and right hand brackets are different, here is a photo of my nos one so you can see what you need.

I took some measurements if you want to duplicate them .

Turns out I need the ones I removed from my spare belly pan to use on my 1GE. It was the only belly pan for my 47X bike, which is in pieces.

Perhaps the easiest solution is for Steve to trace his loose brackets onto cardstock and then mail them to you. Then you can use the 2 templates to make new ones rather than guessing at measurements. I mentioned Steve since you are both in the UK, but I can do it as well.

Hi

Steve great pic's, i new you would spoil my weekend seeing them.

and yes i would be grateful for measurements or a card trace/drawing off anyone, as i have ordered the rubbers and collars for them.
so may as well support the belly pan better.

thanks for the info everybody i don't know what id do without this great pool of knowledge

I have the brackets sitting here on my desk. I'll trace them later.

This is the best I can do with my arthritis and caveman drawing skills.

There should be enough information there and the scale will let you print it to the same size. Then just cut and fold.

You should be able to save and print from here. Contact me if you want me to email it to you.
