FAIRING STRIPES

#1 Post by tarjla » Mon Jan 12, 2015 9:07 am

Sorry for all the questions but I have just paid a lot of money for the painting of my panels and they don't look right to me.The two rear panels transfers I think should have red blocks the same size on each side, getting slightly larger as you move towards the front, can anyone please confirm that for me.Mine are different lengths and height each side!
My white sections also get wider the closer I get to the front of the bike, the google image photos seem to show them all the same width apart, going from 1cm to over 1 inch

I will take some photos tomorrow, the main thing I wanted to know is if the red blocks on the two rear side panels that cover the exhausts increase by the SAME length on both sides, cheers

I took these numbers on a B&W photocopy some times ago on a panel with original paint ( the RZ500 sticker is not original ) , total measurements are taken from the left to the right in cm , it's not very clear but I hope it will answer some of your questions .

The above drawing is spot on for what i need, can anyone do a similar thing with the two front side panels.I don't have access to a genuine paint scheme i could take the measurements off.
