Yes, i know... I have ordered a set of +0,25 pistons, all gaskets and O-rings for my engine, all original from Yamaha...
The dealer gave me 10% price reduction because of the high amount

The difference to your bikes is, that i want to ride the bike, so it dont have to be all original.
It doesn`t matter if the decals are from yamaha or not and it doesn`t matter, that the paintwork isn`t made from yamaha.
The Quality of the work should be good and as close as possible to original.

I think your bikes should stay in a motorcycle museum

Long time ago i have planned to rechrome the fuel cap - now i`m back

Today i was at the company where i have planned to do it, but the guy there tells me that he thinks it is not chrome
But anyway, the guy was unfriendly and i think not really interested in this "small stuff"

Next week i will go to a different company (today already closed... Friday) and ask a second time.

It will not be the easiest thing to rechrome is because its a steel cap pressed onto a aluminum cast part.
Acc. to company 1 not the best material combination for new chrome, but possible.

I want to avoid this - nobody will see it, but i know that there is something wrong!
