alternative wiring loom

#1 Post by wolfgangh » Sat Dec 30, 2006 6:09 pm

I am using a "blackbox" in the fairing nose (which also acts as a fairing stay) to hide most electrical components and the majority of the wiring in it. This fairing stay/electronic box was made by Mick Costin as part of the frame kit. It looks like the real YZR stuff!
I have put Boruts CDI into the box and the programmable CDI timer as well as the programmable Powervalve controller underneath the tray. Turn signal relay and fuses are also in the box. All external components are plugged into via connectors.

Rest of the project is coming along slowly, but I am very satisfied with the results so far. Currentlybusy with making the upper pipes fit under the selfsupporting seatunit.

Wolfgang

Very nice looking project! What is that bottom radiator from? If you have time, could you please post the measurements of that radiator? Thanks.
