For some reason.....when I switch my ignition on.....my Ypvs Servo has started to just go round and round....
Just...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Instead of zzzzz (one way) then zzzzz (the other way) lolol

Any thoughts???

There are 2 possible causes :
1 : The position sensor in the motor is out of order. Never heard of this but theoritically possible. Sensor is a potentiometer and is easy to check : see service manual for more details.
2 : The most probably with 99,99 % of chance : Your YPVS control box is out of order. Typical symptom, I had the same default. Contact Nick at 2t-racelab.com, he will repair it if possible.

Flat battery or very low charge is another possibility - attach a battery charger to the battery while the battery is still connected and see if the servo works ok.

No, if the battery is low, motor will simply move slowly or not at all. But if it happens to move, test procedure will be done normally.

Cheers guys.

Phildu31. It's a brand new Zeeltronic ypvs/cdi box that's being wired into a one off wiring loom for my YZR replica.
About 90% through it at the mo.....
Ypvs servo tested on ignition switch "ON"..... fine. Has been since initially wiring in.

Went in the garage t'other day to start wiring the Kosovo clocks on.....but before I did I switched the ignition on......Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....Constant going round now for no reason!!!

No Idea why.

So you replaced the original YPVS box with a Zeeltronic one...Just an unimportant detail.
Would have been honest to say it before.
