Zeeltronic Needs?

#1 Post by BigGuy » Tue Jan 24, 2017 12:43 am

Hi guys, I'm going to order a Zeeltronic PCDI-24V from Bruot and before I do so I wanted to make sure I was asking for what I need. Does the PCDI-24V only control the function of the ignition or does it also control the power valve function? Also in your opinion is the handheld programmer in addition to the PC-USB programmer? I'm getting the impression the PC-USB programmer supersedes the need for the handheld one?

Thanks in advance for the input gentlemen.

Hi, it has an integrated PV controller as well and you dont need the handheld programmer if you have the PC-USB interface.

Thank you, that's kinda what I was thinking that but I seen a post from pstamper that had me questioning myself.

Looks like he has a bit more of an advanced system in place. LOL

Not advanced, just different box philosophy.

Remember Zeeltronic started with making stock RD400 CDI's programmable by adding a box between the pick-up and the stock CDI. (That was called VCDI).
So his first systems were all like "each function in a separate box".
Later people requested all-in-one stuff and that's what you'll purchase.
Bye

Thanks, I feel less "inadequate" now.lol. It does make more sense to have all of it in one box. Looking forward to seeing it. Thanks for the clarification guys.
