RZ500: Red wire under tank

#1 Post by 2002tiil » Wed Feb 17, 2016 4:11 pm

From the connector under the fuel tank i have a loosten red wire and can't find out where it should fit: Red will say + imo but it's a male connector so could cause a shortcut?

I didn't had a voltmeter to use (motorcycle is at the paintshop).

Tacky, the problem was a wrong left side handle switch: I ordered one for the RZ at Yambits, got one with the "pass" knob. That was the red wire.
It doesn't help because of my bad sight, that's why it took so long to find it out and why i ask "stupid" questions like this.
Luckely i get help from my girlfriend and brother with this kind of issues. Same thing with the fuel lines, it must be quite simple, for me it's a hassle. My brother laughed his eyes out when i wanted to put the exhausts on, took me ca 2 hours for 2 downpipes :smt005
Keeps me from the street though!
