Hi All me agian
just swicthed rz on with no cables attached to the ypvs motor and it kept going round and round?should it do this?
because when i did attached the cables it turned about 1/4 turn went back half that then stopped when i turned off then on again it done the same thing.
1/4 turn same way then back does this mean my control box is broken? if it is can i still use bike with this broken if i disconnect the control unit and move power vales to the open postion manually? or is this abad move?

Yes it's broken and yes it maybe fixed; there are people offering services for that.

But honestly - do yourself a favour and either get a Zeeltronic PPV, an ignitech STPS or even better the appropriate CDI/PV combo from one of them.

The mentioned programmable PV box will cost you around 100 Eur. and adds several kW performance. In addition with a programmable CDI it'll even have some more.

that s normal Fletch , also had that when disconnecting the cables to the PVs
maybe the valves are stuck in their bore or the connecting wheel locked
try to turn the system by hand and lube it

Hi,

Had the same.
First disconnect the cables and check that the valves turn smoothly. They should will.
Next check the servo motor ( 2 wires )
Next check the position sensor of the servo motor.
It's a potentiometer ( 3 wires ) : move the motor manually and check the resistances.
It should be OK.
If it is : your control box is out of order.
You can repair it at 2t-racelabs.com or order a programmable one.
