If he won't give up a complete set, then just the YPVS and CDI connectors would help.

I have an OEM RZV harness in excellent condition, but my build on an RZV frame only is with temperature gauge (not fuel level) and side stand switch so I’m looking for a new OEM or high quality replica Canadian RZ500 wiring harness. I don’t want to modify my RZV harness if at all possible would prefer just to save for a rainy day.

If I were you, I would use the RZV harness without any cutting. Fuel level wire is useless and you should addan additional wire for side stand switch.
Plus maybe some adaptation for hand side connectors and meter connector.

I’ve ordered an RZV service manual from Japan so I can compare the wiring schematic of both, maybe it’s just a matter of adding an extra plug or spade connector in a spot or two...

I have an RZV harness that has been modded for an RZ/RD, I bought it and the dick head who sold it it me didn't mention it had been modded for an RZ/RD, I had to buy another RZV harness for my bike.

Yeah I’ve had a few parts arrive not as expected, 2 pairs of clip ons and only one good right side, others are slight bent or the tab stretched a bit. Another was a counter balance shaft from Japan with big bearing dry and spun out (with air?) guessing for clean rules shipping. Anyway have another balance I’m using and still on the hunt for a good left bar, and sure would be nice a really clean or even NOS (or replica?) RZ loom.

The 52X (Canadian Model) versions are available. The shop makes it on an "order-made" basis.

Just use the one you have. Tape over the unused RZV plugs and don't worry about the side stand switch. It's overrated.

I did have the side stand switch on my old bike though,
and have already purchased an RZ side stand w/ switch bracket and new Yamaha bagged switch so I’m probably leaning toward using them
