Alternate rear shock absorber ?

#1 Post by JKO » Sat Aug 11, 2018 4:36 pm

All mono shock absorbers cost EUR + 400, -
There are a lot of different mono shock absorbers, so there must be one that can be easily matched to an RD500?
Which could be the best bid?
Jesper Kofoed
Ducati 748S
Suzuki GS500E Electric 5 Kwh battery
Yamaha RD500

Nitron are very popular. I have a YSS which is good for the money.

My '85 RZ500 has a Wibers rear shock with adjustable ride height. It came with the bike so I have no idea how it compares to the stock one.

I got my Ohlins through a group buy here years ago. I think they were purchased from Wim Kroon. No ride height adjuster though.
