RZV Kickstand Bracket

#1 Post by Smoker » Mon Feb 05, 2018 7:36 am

Looks like I'll need some help with this.

I'd like a CAD drawing of the RZV kickstand bracket.

Doesn't have to be exact, but close enough for machining a working part.

I'd like to drill an 8mm hole and weld in a pin, just like OEM.

The part is about 10mm thick and the mounting hole centers are 96mm, just for reference.

I could do the measurements, but it's probably better to send the part to the person doing the CAD drawing. If anyone is interested, please post or PM me. I'm willing to pay cash or trade parts.

Thanks! :smt006

What`s the difference between RZV (51X) and RD (47X) part?
My bikes:
RD500 YPVS 1GE
RD350 YPVS 31K 1985
Honda CBR 1000 RR SC57
Yamaha R1 RN04

I've got the steel frame on my complete RZ500.

I'll compare the bracket on the steel frame to the RZV bracket I got from RZVTokyo.

That would be a simple item to measure the drawin a cad program, no need for scanning.

It will take some effort for me to get the RD bracket, but I'm on it.

This is really a question for jackson.40.... :Bat Signal:

The mounting hole centers are about 10mm wider on the RD.

I've (barely) started on some hand drawings that hopefully could be translated into CAD.

I'll post my progress. Not enough to show, yet.
