Rear Brake Switch - Where to connect

#1 Post by tonyhes » Tue Aug 08, 2017 9:31 pm

He RZ-500 Crazy Folks!

I'm trying to figure out how to connect the RZ-500 rear brake switch. The manual and what few related pictures I can find leave lots to the imaginination.... I guess these parts aren't so sexy so... Why take a picture!

Would someone be able to take a picture off there bike to show where the component goes... I know the switch well from other yamaha bikes but on the RZ it seems there isn't a direct place to hook it on...

Additionally, our little switch has suffered.... please see 2 attachments

When I remember right the wire part is hooked into the brake pedal.
There are 2 smaller holes, one is for the linkage to the master cylinder (rear), the smaller one (front) is for the switch.
My bikes:
RD500 YPVS 1GE
RD350 YPVS 31K 1985
Honda CBR 1000 RR SC57
Yamaha R1 RN04
