Anyone in the UK had their swing arm, lower fork legs and footrests anodised to restore them to factory original?
If so who did it, what finish did you request and would you recommend them to others to carry out this work?
many thanks

Re: Swing arm and fork lower legs
Footrests are painted (same color as the frame), fork legs are at least painted with clear coat - don`t know if they are anodized before but I don`t think they would clear coat it after anodizing.
How I can explain it to myself: Footrests and fork legs are casted with an alloy which is not suitable for anodizing, so they had to coat it in a different way.
Swing arm is anodized without color (natural silver color after anodizing).
My anodizing company told me they can`t guarantee that it gets an even silver color after removing the old layer and anodizing it new but I think I will try it with one of my 2 swing arms.
