#1 Post by podman » Mon Oct 03, 2016 12:53 pm

I dont expect it to be Ohlins (taht said my friends 500 has one but it has a remote reservoir) but the standard item didnt have a yellow spring?

Adjuster and some other parts look like the original shock, maybe different spring or coated.
Isn`t a big deal to get the spring out for coating...

Having had a look at a couple of examples on eBay now, I think your right, it is a standard shock.

Could it be a standard shock and Ohlins spring? I'm sure I have an aftermarket spring in my 'spares' believe this is an Ohlins spring, as it looks the same?

Would I find any ID marks on an Ohlins spring?

The RZV shock has a similar adjuster knob. It looks like a RZ500 shock with an RZV-type adjuster.
