Back at track and short vacation with good people and RG's

Finally back at track. Had an enjoyable stay at Rick Lance's Gamma get together last week. Thanks Rick for a great time and let your wife know how much I appreciated the cooking. Absolutely stunning roads to ride. He was nice enough to lend me a ride for a few days. Even got to take the big bore Pepsi bike out. Scared the shit out of me with that much power and the windy roads. Think I will stick with the track. He even found us a great place to stay. Was a cabin on some secluded property with animals, a small stock pond, and most importantly, peace and quiet. The main house had a solar system I was hoping to see but time was too short. Think I will come back and clean bikes for ride time. A few picks from Texas World Speedway and the the stay at Rick's. Thanks again Rick.

Very twitchy on the stock one but more stable on the Pepsi. My stock RZ is twitchy but take 40 or 50 pounds of the RZ and install some lightweight wheels and you have one of his stock RG's. Rick said part of the Pepdi bike is it has similar tire sizes compared to my track bike. Performance wise I think a stock Gamma with pipes will take an RZ with ease. Was not much open road to open them up and they were not mine so I was being safe. The Pepsi big bore big had a lot of low end grunt. No need to be constantly shifting to keep it going. That is what I want out of s bike. I do not care how far it revs. Rick and I agree that the RZ is more suited for track riding and the RG is good in the twistys. But any RG would be a competitive bike at any track day level with a capable rider with big balls.
