COTA VIDEO UP

#1 Post by pstamper » Sun Sep 13, 2015 7:58 pm

Having issue with movie maker on one video What would you all rather see. Camera on tach and windscreen, helmet, or action one back at rider. The last one is pretty good or two? The videos are impressive to me and I do not get passed often. As i mentioned he ride Moto America Series.

Sorry for strange angle but helmet shot will be up soon. Hope you all enjoy a talented rider on a great prepped bike. Who ever said these bikes are slow has a broken one.

I would like to request the overhead helicopter shot.....
If I disagree with everyone, that doesn't make me right. If I take the side of only one, it doesn't end the fight. If my position's strong enough from exposure to the light, you may see things my way when we share the same highway.

Helmet video to come. As always great work on a a flawless engine Mr. Rick. I always call you after I get finished after a track weekend and again smooth as silk. Kris loved the bike and he gave the big liter bikes quite a run. Thanks for part # on water pump seal.

Nice videos Paul. They are fun to watch.

I am curious why the rider usually shifts your bike at 9000 - 9500.

Isn't that the engine that winds up to about 11,000?

This is the track bike. My street bike which had the carbs modified by Rick Lance is the one that revs to 12,000rpm. I told Kris to run it to 10,500 but I guess he wanted to respect my bike. His riding style shows that you do not need to rev the crap out of the bike to stay with the big bikes. The big Ducati he diced with for several laps tried to pass on the outside going into turn 16 and quickly found he was in the wrong place. He and I both still hit shift lever and he also put a new dent in the lower pipe Think it happened in turn 14.

I love the typical scenario where the big bikes fly by on the straightaway but are soon passed within a few corners!
Then its GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY!! And everyone gets passed!
Thanks for the cool video.

Thanks. Kris is really a good rider. I wish I was as smooth. He invited me to a local track for some private instruction. He told me it was fun against the Ducati and was really difficult passing only on the outside. I need to put my better pirellis on the bike, change steering angle, add a tooth on front sprocket, and sign up for level 3 and see what he does.

I am going with your saying. Kris kicked butt. Like to see him in level 3 with the sticky Pirelli tire and steering geometry change.
